Türkiye’de yaşanan ekonomik, askeri, sosyal, kültürel vb. gelişmeler, yabancıların Türk kültürü ve diline ilgisini arttırmaktadır. Bu nedenle son yıllarda Türkçenin yabancı dil olarak öğretimi çalışmaları hız kazanmıştır. Bu doğrultuda Bosna-Hersek’te de Türk kültürünün tanıtılması ve Türkçenin öğretilmesi amacıyla “Tercihim Türkçe Projesi” uygulanmaya başlamıştır. Bugün Bosna-Hersek'te, yaklaşık 7000 öğrenciye Türkçeyi, seçmeli ya da zorunlu yabancı dil dersi kapsamında farklı kademelerdeki okullarda öğretilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Yunus Emre Enstitüsünün Bosna-Hersek’te yürüttüğü “Tercihim Türkçe Projesi”ne ilişkin öğretmenlerin görüşlerini değerlendirmektir. Çalışmada projenin ihtiyaca cevap verip vermediği, öğretmenlerin kullandıkları yöntem ve teknikler vb. çeşitli problemlere cevap aranmıştır. Çalışma grubu Bosna-Hersek’in farklı bölgelerinde, farklı kademelerde Türkçe derslerini yöneten 30 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Projeyle ilgili öğretmen görüşlerini ortaya koyan bu çalışma anket ve doküman incelemesi teknikleriyle yürütülmüştür. Evreni temsil eden öğretmenler random yöntemle belirlenmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak kişisel bilgi formu, öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemek için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ve anketten yararlanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistik tekniklerinden yararlanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda, öğretmenler bu proje ile Boşnak ve Türk çocuklar arasında bağ kurulduğunu ifade etmiştir. Çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda, “Tercihim Türkçe Projesi”nin Bosna-Hersek’te kalıcılığı için tüm kurumlarca desteklenmesi, proje kapsamında öğretmenlerin sık aralıklarla hizmet içi eğitimlere alınması, kardeş okul projeleriyle öğrenci hareketliliğinin arttırılması ve proje kapsamında öğrencilere sunulan etkinliklerin çeşitlendirilmesi önerilmektedir.

For this reason, studies on teaching Turkish as a foreign language have gained momentum in recent years. In this direction, the "My Choice is Turkish Project" has started to be implemented in Bosnia-Herzegovina in order to promote Turkish culture and teach Turkish. Today, in Bosnia-Herzegovina, approximately 7000 students are taught Turkish in schools at different levels as part of an elective or compulsory foreign language course. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the opinions of teachers regarding the "My Choice is Turkish Project" carried out by Yunus Emre Institute in Bosnia-Herzegovina. In the study, whether the project meets the need, the methods and techniques used by teachers, etc. Answers to various problems were sought. The working group consists of 30 teachers who manage Turkish lessons at different levels in different regions of Bosnia-Herzegovina. This study, which reveals teachers' opinions about the project, was conducted using survey and document review techniques. Teachers representing the universe were determined by random method. A personal information form, a semi-structured interview form and a survey developed by the researcher to determine teachers' opinions were used as data collection tools. Descriptive statistical techniques were used to analyze the data. As a result of the study, teachers stated that a bond was established between Bosnian and Turkish children with this project. In line with the results obtained from the study, it is recommended that the "My Choice is Turkish Project" be supported by all institutions for its permanence in Bosnia-Herzegovina, that teachers receive in-service training at frequent intervals within the scope of the project, that student mobility is increased with sister school projects, and that the activities offered to students within the scope of the project are diversified.
